ABOUT
This initiative is all about opening doors—giving educators firsthand exposure to lesser known trades they may not have been familiar with, so they can better guide and inspire students considering a future in the skilled trades. From hands-on experiences to meaningful conversations, this tour helps bridge the gap between the classroom and real-world career opportunities.
TOTAL PROGRAM IMPACT
In 2025, we partnered with Careers Next Gen to visit local construction companies with over 50 teachers for our Teachers & Trades Tour.
We toured 5 different construction companies around the Edmonton area to learn about the different skilled trades that exist within the industry.
By educating teachers, we hope to inform kids on not only the benefits of working in the trades but also what trade would be the best fit for them.
